How to convert a PDF to JPG on an iPhone
There is no built-in PDF-to-image conversion on an iPhone; the usual workaround is a screenshot, which captures the screen at the screen's resolution and nothing more. Safari can run a converter that renders each page properly and saves it to Photos.
Is there a built-in way on an iPhone or iPad?
No. iPhone and iPad has nothing built in for this, and the closest things get in the way:
- The Files app and Quick Look can show a PDF but have no Save as Image or Export command.
- A screenshot (side button + volume up) captures whatever fits on screen at the display's resolution, with the app's toolbars unless you crop.
What that means
- Screenshots are limited to screen resolution and one screen's worth of page.
- No batch option; every page is a separate manual capture.
