About PDF Spree
Why this exists
Working with a PDF is one of those tasks that should take ten seconds and routinely takes ten minutes. You need to merge two files, or turn a page the right way up, or get a table out into a spreadsheet — and the options are desktop software you have to buy, a site that makes you register before it will let you download your own document, or a free tool that stamps a watermark across the result.
PDF Spree is the version of that without the friction. Open the page, drop the file, get the result. No account, no email address, no watermark, no countdown timer, no “your file is ready — click here to continue”.
Most of it never leaves your browser
24 of our tools run as code inside the page you are already looking at. Your document is read into your own device’s memory, processed there, and handed back as a download. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing to store, leak or delete.
That is not only a privacy decision. It is also what makes the service viable to run: a tool that costs nothing to serve can stay free at any volume. Where an operation genuinely cannot happen in a browser — converting Office files, OCR on a scan — we say so on the tool’s own page, and without an account the file is deleted within a day. How it is paid for
Advertising. That is the whole model, and it is worth being direct about it because it explains everything else on this page.
Ads mean we do not need your email address, your credit card, or a reason to make the free version worse. It also sets a hard constraint: a session has to cost us close to nothing to serve, which is precisely why the tools are built to run on your machine rather than ours. The business model and the privacy property are the same decision.
What we will not do
- Watermark your output, or degrade a free result to sell an upgrade.
- Require an account to use a tool.
- Put an ad between you and your download, or dress an ad up as a download button.
- Fake a progress bar, or add an artificial wait to serve another impression.
- Overstate what a tool does. Our signing tool places a visual signature, not a cryptographic one, and it says so on the page. Conversion is lossy, and we say that too.
These are not aspirations. They are constraints written into how the site is built, because the traffic this depends on comes from people choosing to come back.
