How to extract a table from a PDF
- 01
Add your PDF
Drop the file in, or pick only the pages the tables are on.
- 02
Pick a format
Excel keeps a tab per page and numbers as numbers; CSV is plain text that opens anywhere.
- 03
Check the grid
Every table found is shown before you download, so a misread column takes seconds to spot.
- 04
Download
Save the file and carry on in your spreadsheet.
Frequently asked questions

Tables whose columns line up visually, which is most of them: statements, invoices, price lists, timetables. It reads the position of every string on the page and infers the grid from that. Merged cells, nested tables and columns that nearly touch are where it struggles, which is why it shows you the result before the download.
No. A scan is a picture of a page — there are no text positions to work from. That needs OCR first, which recognises the characters and adds a text layer.
